It's criminality, correction, punishment not trust is next.

So instead of making law changes to fund the age care system properly, we publically shame the whole system. Shouldn't there be some accountability that public funds are being used appropriately. If they are not... withdrawal the support.

auspol Royal Commissions are useful only if it results in changed behaviour. I don't think really much has changed in child abuse except some ppl got caught out. Until ppl who report are protected, whistleblowers are protected in both cases nothing much will change.

So will you be telling people that they should go back to work and 'move on'?

There won't be any trust if the actual truth comes out.

I wonder if the RC will address the issue of why current laws & audits of facilities aren't working? There's no point in financing a bureaucracy which isn't doing its job, nor advocating for changes necessary in order to do its job of ensuring standards are complied with.
