Canberra's rainbow roundabout is well known, but, according to urban planners, it's not keeping with Braddon's future as a pedestrian-friendly suburb littered with cafes, yoga studios and parklets.

That's one big gay target!

It may just be me but 'strategically gritty' sounds very different to 'pedestrian friendly, green'. Certainly if I was looking for something green or friendly I wouldn't go anywhere near gritty!

Rainbow crossings.........is this where we are really at? morons.

It's a racist roundabout because there is no black colour to represent LGBTI people of colour.

This roundabout needs to go. The red band should be on the outside. science

Yes, roundabouts are not pedestrian-friendly 2 lane roundabouts are a disaster for all

We give screen time too much blame for young people's mental health — time to switch focusScreen time given too much blame for its impact on young people's mental health, study finds I'm sure it's the leading cause of massacres. Just means they haven't found the link yet... it's there, keep looking. I know, I can see the effects in my kids (i have a few) if they get too much screen time. No doubt about it. Too much must have long term effects

Royal Commission into aged care will focus on regulation and funding of the sector, says CEO of the Council on the AgeingThe Royal Commission into the aged-care sector begins today in what's being described as a watershed moment for older Australians and their families. the end result of this RC will be more expensive aged care. the beneficiary will be Unionized Labor. government meddling never works, except for a special minority My mother is 92 and in aged care - even at this age I have seen her lash out at carers or try to bite them when they are changing clothes and bedding. Please let the front line carers take responsibility for what restraints they use not the civil libertarians. They need to put in a minimum staff to patient ratio Also they need to ensure workers are more qualified, speak English fluently, better vetted, maybe a Working with the Aged Licence? Providers providers need to pay staff better & provide resources, not spend it on fancy foyers
