A spreadsheet of the nation’s most marginal electorates was used to help decide railway car parks - and an FoI request points to its creation in a minister’s office | Exclusive by swrighteconomy katinacurtis

“An IT search was undertaken in order to locate any possibly relevant departmental documents, created between 1 September 2018 and 10 April 2019, that contained spreadsheets and attachments containing key words “top 20 marginals” and/or “top marginals” as they related to the Urban Congestion Fund and/or the Commuter Car Park Fund,” he said.Mr Morrison has refused to say whether he saw the list, arguing Mr Tudge had made decisions about the car park allocation.

“PM&C advised that material contained within the documents would, if disclosed, reveal cabinet deliberations or decisions, including the timing of cabinet’s consideration,” he said.
