Queensland police shoot two men accused of carrying knives in separate incidents

Officers were called to reports of an armed person at an address in Liquidambar Place in Stretton in the city's south around 7pm.A man has been shot by police after allegedly confronting officers with a knife in Brisbane.

Officers were called to reports of an armed person at an address in Liquidambar Place in Stretton in the city's south around 7pm.He was rushed to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a serious but stable condition.It's the second police shooting incident in hours in the state.
