A Queensland mother described her anguish after she said her newborn was forcibly removed from her in hospital while she was waiting for a negative COVID-19 test result. 9News

Aleasha Pique said staff at the Caboolture Hospital in Queensland's south east, took her newborn son Remy from her arms, against her will, after discovering her 16-year-daughter might have been COVID-positive.

"Now I'm so upset all of the time and I'm scared to even put him down at the moment and it shouldn't have been like that."The Caboolture Hospital said it has not launched an investigation into Ms Pique's case. Queensland's Chief Health Officer said the general principle should be that mothers and babies are not separated."Think about it through the eyes of a young mum, how tragic this would've been for her at this time."

Would she rather have given her baby covid. Stop trying to make the hospital look bad. They were thinking of your baby. You silly woman.

So let me get this straight 🤔🤔🤔 Security viciously beat the mother to the ground then ripped the newborn from her grasp, lay ing the boot in as they marched away with her child🤔🤔🤔🤔 so why was the child removed at all🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

Sadly we have seen political cruelty in action these last two years in this country.

So had it been: new born contracts covid from mother (who contracted it from daughter) upset at hospital for not protecting baby from transmission. Then babies in the nursery contract covid from an infected baby. Then we will be singing tune hosputal not preventing spread.

Better the baby gets covid according to some morons…same happens in NSW…but the LNP media won’t report on that

Absolutely disgusting

Unbelievable I can’t understand that! That’s definitely not the way it has to go. You can’t separate a mother from her child

I gratuated from school in 2017 but I have not good economy to study in university because I have economic problems and here Afghanistan too economic problems Can anyone help me about working in your country please? send me diresct message or contact me whatsapp +93744072516

Caboolture hospital is toxic and I would never recommend anyone to go there. Caboolture hospital should be closed down. Staff r undertrained and do not no what they r doing and staff at Caboolture even have mental health issues themselves 🤪 they r unfit to be practising.
