Thousands of Queensland year 12 graduates eagerly await the results of their final year of schooling this morning, with the cohort the first in the state to receive ATAR scores.

The class of 2020 was the first full cohort to attend prep, the first year 7s at high school, and now the first to graduate with an ATAR during a health crisis.

Ms Beotra said the year had made it harder for her cohort because of the coronavirus pandemic, but the challenge had made her stronger."I think for me I was someone who had a pretty high goal that I wanted to achieve by the end of the year. She said overall her school was "really good and we got through it and I think we came out a lot stronger".

‘I didn’t want to go that way’: Thousands of students ditch the ATARA record 4175 year 12 students ditched the ATAR last year and completed VCE without a study score as universities offered new alternative pathways to enrolment. VCE Twas a failure from the start So that is how they bypass? One system Australia wide - and NOT dictated by Universities who have a bias to feed. Equally, no special concessions for foreign students by fee paying - Australian students first ! All this must be removed and make direct entry to universities.Outsourcing, work visa, immigration, state sponsored visa, high skilled visa etc is high. Companies dont care.Australians must get directly and thus stop overseas ppl enjoying benefits.
