The Queen will miss a key event of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations after experiencing some 'discomfort' on Thursday.

Buckingham Palace released a statement “with great reluctance” to announce the Queen had experienced “some discomfort” during Thursday’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

The chain of lights led up to the “Tree of Trees” which was made from hundreds of indigenous British trees and plants and lit up spectacularly.
