The Queen’s coffin, draped in the Scottish Royal Standard, arrived at the Palace of Holyroodhouse on Sunday afternoon local time.

The coffin will be transferred to St Giles’ Cathedral in Edinburgh in a Royal procession on Monday where King Charles III and other senior members of his family will take part in a service. Another Royal procession will take place on Wednesday afternoon with the coffin to be taken on a Gun Carriage of The King’s Troop, Royal Horse Artillery from Buckingham Place to the Palace of Westminster.Buckingham Palace confirmed a “short service” will be conducted at Westminster Hall on Wednesday by the Archbishop of Canterbury.
