The Queen has made her first public appearance of 2021 attending a ceremony to mark the 100th anniversary of the Royal Australian Air Force.

Her Majesty went to a short service at the Commonwealth War Graves Commission which she opened in 1953.

The event remembers the thousands of men and women who died in operations in Europe but have no known graves. It is the Queen's first time leaving the walls of Windsor Castle in almost five months as England's coronavirus lockdown measures ease.

The 2021 Federal budget will ‘effectively’ be a pre-election budget | Sky News AustraliaThe Australian's Dennis Shanahan says the federal government will be “playing to the strength of economic security” in budget which will be delivered on Tuesday in the lead up to the next election. \n\n“This is effectively a pre-election budget, even if there is another budget in April next year before a May election, this is the real formation of the political strategy and the economic strategy for the election,” he said. \n\n“What we are seeing is a greater emphasis on the economy in this budget than a budget in itself.\n\n“What were seeing is that Josh Frydenberg is saying the way to fix the budget, with record national debt and record deficit, is to actually fix the economy by job creation and getting business investment rolling.\n\n“So far that has been working very well, much better than expected because of the COVID pandemic - so the government is playing to that strength of economic security, that is job security”.\n\nMr Shanahan told Sky News because it would be a pandemic election the emphasis in the budget would still be on healthcare and helping people whose jobs have been affected by COVID. \n Ra ra ra .. not voting for the clowns who don’t hold the hose. Meaning that they'll blow it all and double the debt again so they can blame labor WTF does that even mean? A drovers dog could run the Australian economy, but it takes the drunken sailors of the LNP to rack up a staggering $1Trillion debt!

Women, health and services win big in 2021 budget | Sky News AustraliaSky News has outlined the winners and losers in the big spending 2021 budget handed down by the Morrison government on Tuesday night.\n\nWomen, the health sector and services have been prioritised by the Coalition, successfully gaining additional funding.\n\nHowever, the Labor Party have been quick to argue workers go backwards when it comes to wages.\n\nShadow Treasurer Jim Chalmers says only a Liberal government could spend $100 billion, rack up a trillion dollars in debt and still have workers go backwards.\n\nTreasury predicts an expected rise in the consumer price index will exceed wage growth leading to an effective wage cut as early as this financial year.\n\n Nothing is new! It is an announcement of previous announcements and does not address issues for women nor aged care in any way. It is a political budget that does not help working, struggling or ordinary Australians in any way. Scottyfromannouncements Scottyfromcoverups Winners: No one. Losers: Everyone else. What load of crap it was an election budget only their is only money for the rich in this budget
