Prince Andrew has been dealt a devastating blow after being stripped of all of his military honours and royal patronages by the Queen.for the embattled royal to face a sexual assault civil lawsuit.“With The Queen’s approval and agreement, the Duke of York’s military affiliations and royal patronages have been returned to the Queen,” a statement released by Buckingham Palace said on Friday .

The Queen’s dramatic move is understood to be a direct response to calls from military veterans to strip her youngest son of his roles. Prince Andrew has been stripped of his military honours, patronages and can no longer be referred to as ‘his royal highness’.Prince Andrew, who himself is an army veteran, failed this week to have a sexual assault civil lawsuit quashed in a New York court.

But Judge Lewis A Kaplan of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York on Wednesday said the 2009 agreement cannot “demonstrate, clearly and unambiguously” show the parties intended to “benefit Prince Andrew”.

Prince Andrew must face lawsuit tied to EpsteinPrince Andrew failed to convince a judge to toss a lawsuit accusing him of sexually abusing a teenage girl decades ago. Should have tried an Australian judge. I mean 'What more could this man have tried in order to work up a sweat?' Irrespective of Andrew's guilt hopefully this will send a signal to those people in society who believe that there are no consequences to their actions.

HRH is claiming he is coverd by Epstein's agreement. Why would he claim this if he did not commit the acts? As she was under 18 at the time and one incident occured in the UK is HRH admitting to a criminal act under British law? HRH should have kept to polo and opening fetes.
