Urgent investigation underway as Qantas privacy breach shares passenger's details with other travellers Qantas passengers are reporting a glitch within the airline’s app where other user's boarding passes and information are showing up on the screen.
“In the space of about 15 minutes this morning, I was able to capture at least 8 to 12 different people's details, including boarding passes. "So Qantas is going to have to reissue boarding passes at the very least, which will create chaos for people who had saved that boarding pass into their digital wallet on their smartphone."
Despite the severity of the issue, Mr Long said the problem was likely to resolve itself “very quickly” though travellers who are flying soon will need to take action.
