Peter McEvoy will produce his last edition ofat the end of 2019. He first pitched the current affairs format 12 years ago and has been with the ABC for three decades.

Since then, the ABC has broadcast more than 400 episodes and last year celebrated a decade on air. The show hasn't been without its share of controversial moments, including letting former terror suspect Zaky Mallah interrogate Liberal National MP Steven Ciobo about the country's counter-terrorism laws. Mallah had been found not guilty at trial.
