But it's missing a key piece of permanent infrastructure that prevents one in five people living with a disability from enjoying it.Bondi Beach, matting which allows people living with mobility issues to enjoy the beach, is only a part-time option for many.

"But the more and more places big beaches that we use, like Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach, for example, have the matting, but once again, it is not a permanent structure. "Everyone deserves the opportunity to enjoy the sand, sun, and surf it's a fundamental part of this country, this culture, this summer lifestyle," Founder and board chair Shane Hryhorec said.
