Protests break out across Russia after Vladimir Putin declares partial military mobilisation

The protests have prompted Moscow authorities to warn anyone organising or participating in the protests could face up to 15 years imprisonment.

Mr Putin warned Russia would use"all means available to us" to achieve their goals in Ukraine in his first address since announcing the"special military operation" in February. The partial mobilisation means 300,000 military reservists - but not conscripts - will be called up to bolster Russia's forces in Ukraine.

He’s hoping the public will rise behind him as they rose for Stalin in the Great Patriotic War in 1942. But they DIDN’T support Stalin, they just wanted the Germans out. Not supporting Putin either.

That's not a protest, this is a protest! LOL

The sad truth is that they protest against mobilisation, not the war itself. 🤷‍♂️ Learn the difference..

Funny how the news media reports on protests in Russia about the war but no one bothered to report the massive anti lockdown protests in our own country. 🤔

Thousands in 32 cities? So around 31 protests per city...
