Why line the pockets of the teachers union or it's members? Fund the kids. I like the idea. When I was little my school organised an account with the Commonwealth Bank. Every week I would go to school with our passbook & a small amount of money. I used that account for 30 years.

Funny how the opposition leaders response is to suggest 'put da money over there cause education not good nuff'.
Money should be directed elsewhere/that it will be 'expensive' isn't a very convincing counter. Proposed fund would make it easier for future generations to access further education/training anyway once 18. Suggestions or more tech gizmos that some teachers can't even turn on?
