What a brave and revolutionary move to introduce female nudity to the private school system

Maybe these 'private' schools, should realize that whilever they recieve govt funding, they must allow full equality into their schools. If not, funding will cease, until compliance takes place. If they dont do it then, sack the management, and restart.

Simple solution. If you believe your daughter should be able to wear pants to school and the school won't let her them don't enrol her at that school and make it perfectly clear why you are not enrolling her. Enough people do this they'll soon change

Girls wore pants when i was at school 12 years ago

They don't need to wear tight pants that show off their ass if modest is a principle the school upholds, but they should have the choice to wear something that is more 'secure' and practical. There are plenty of sensible compromises that could be made r.e. clothing design.

Little girl comes home and says to mummy, today 4 boys at school gave me a $1 each to climb up a tree. Mummy said, you know dear they only wanted to see your panties? Girl replied, I know mummy but I fooled them, I took them off.

Hang on but it appears from the photo that staff aren’t included?

Oh for gewd sake, let em wear pants. How hard can it be?

bsadams25 How stupid is that... keeping elitism ahead of realism as usual

Private schools resisting 20th century progress while stealing public education's $

Australia - stuck in the 1950's it seems. What does it matter what kids wear. Give them a choice and let's focus n the quality of our education system which is not good folks!

Skirts versus trousers for girls! I cannot believe that this conversation is still going on! It's simply gender discrimination. Anachronistic dress codes like this have no place in our society.

I like when private schools really fight about the things that matter...

As a girl, I would personally prefer to wear skirts. I like feeling feminine and always have, even in my teenage years. I used to wear pants to go out clubbing, though.

So sexist. Should be pushing for men to wear dresses. Men’s pants are the epitome of male toxicity

Can these dinosaurs please drag their arses into the 21st century?

I remember in 1966 when my public primary school said yes, girls can wear pants to school. That was 50 years ago.

The skirt or dress requirement in dress codes for females are a throwback to the males desiring instant access to the female's genitals for rapid easy access to copulate, releasing the male's sexual tension. and pure gratification

Renewed push for pill testing after teen girl dies at music festival | Sky News AustraliaThe woman who died from a suspected drug overdose at a Sydney music festival at the weekend has been identified as 19-year-old Alex Ross-King. \n\nMs Ross-King was at FOMO music festival in Parramatta, Sydney’s west on Saturday, when she was rushed to Westmead Hospital and later died. \n\nThe teenager’s family is now calling on the New South Wales government to consider pill testing at music festivals. \n\nPremier Gladys Berejiklian has not supported the move however, saying ‘I worry pill testing could have the opposite effect’ and ‘we need to keep sending out the strongest message that taking these illicit drugs kills’. \n\n\n\n\n\n I've got a bizarre, simpler, more cost effective solution. Just make the drugs legal so the entire supply chain will be run by corporate citizens vested in the success of society, instead of criminal gangs vested in the destruction of society. Forget the testing and start arresting some of these drug user and pushes. Can someone please explain what pill testing is and how it would work at a music festival?

Nothing says 'Australia' like your government telling you what to wearWe cherish our larrikin spirit, our propensity to shun authority, our refusal to stand on ceremony. It follows that new migrants attending state-mandated January 26 citizenship ceremonies will be forced to conform to a dress code. JacquelineMaley Stop promoting dressing as a bogan, it’s an important event. JacquelineMaley I think those who are well dressed to attend an important event in their life should expect that others would also be appropriately dressed. If the ceremony is on the beach than beachwear is appropriate. JacquelineMaley What 'larrickin' spirit..? Essentially, any outward action of anti-authoritarianism in this country is simply cultural window dressing. Anzacs didn't salute British officers but still obeyed their orders to go over the top & die useless deaths. Is the same principle today Auspol
