Prime Minister has responded to the Nationals’ net zero list of demands

Deputy Leader of the Nationals David Littleproud told Sky News host Kieran Gilbert that Scott Morrison had responded to the demands made by the Nationals party adding the party would be meeting on Sunday to hopefully decide on a deal.

“I will be sitting down today before the meeting to work through that response in recognition of what we’ve put to the Prime Minister in allaying some of our concerns, mitigating some of our concerns,” Mr Littleproud said on Sunday. The idea that a future government could change the scheme and negatively affect rural Australians was a concern for the Nationals.

One of the major conditions the Nationals have campaigned for is the protection of economic growth and jobs especially in regional Australia.

Which is code for, 'Thanks for arranging even more of the taxpayer's money to flow into our pockets'.

Good to see diversity in the nationals workplace.
