THE SPECIAL Ks ✅ Nick Kyrgios and Thanasi Kokkinakis claim another AusOpen win... three wins from a doubles 🏆

January 23rd, 2022 6:32 pm

One again,Kyrgios and Kokkinakis drew a sellout crowd to Kia Arena, which was electric throughout the entire match. It follows a similar effort in their last doubles match against the Croatian pair, where the duo hit 17 aces and won 82 per cent of first serve points.“It was spine-tingling stuff, it gives you goosebumps,” one of the commentators said of the atmosphere after Kyrgios and Kokkinakis won the first set.

Some solid play receiving at 2-4 saw them generate two break points, but they’d need just one after a costly double fault on the other end. Also of concern to Kyrgios was a leg complaint, with the 26-year-old requiring treatment during a change of ends and appearing to slightly favour his opposite leg at the start of the third set.
