Agriculture Minister D_LittleproudMP says state premiers need to focus on easing restrictions for regional Australians in order to keep supply chains, animal and human welfare maintained.

Agriculture Minister David Littleproud says state premiers need to focus on easing restrictions for regional Australians in order to keep supply chains, animal and human welfare maintained.

“The practical application at a local level, particularly in regional or remote areas where there hasn’t been the cases, can be looked at in isolation,” Mr Littleproud told Sky News host Chris Kenny. “It’s important that we just use some common sense here, we work with the states. “We’re just saying can it be retrofitted to look in a pragmatic and practical way to look after regional rural Australia in a different way than what you are to metropolitan areas.

D_LittleproudMP The federal government needs to consider the needs of Australians returning home with their pets and the possibility of having quarantine facilities in all Australian States while this Covid-19 emergency and border closures are ongoing. Please help us as our pets are family too.

D_LittleproudMP He also might have suggested that their health departments talk to their agricultural departments about quarantine & contact tracing.

There is ‘rank abuse’ of the democratic process in Australia: Alan Jones | Sky News AustraliaSky News host Alan Jones said the 75 year anniversary of the end of World War Two is interesting in light of the rank abuse of the democratic process at work in Australia.\n\n“Think of the freedoms being denied us,” Mr Jones said.\n\n“Think of the dictatorial behaviour of governments.\n\n“Think of the anarchy in the streets.”\n\nImage: Getty The rank abuse of the democratic process by this mob You could call Papa Murdoch a rank abuse of democracy. That would be an apt description. Good of Alan Jones to acknowledge the rank abuse of democracy that Australia faces: - an unaccountable and corrupt Federal Gov't, and - an out-of-control propaganda machine owned by a foreign billionaire aiding and abetting the corrupt Gov't. Thanks Alan. Now say sorry!
