Pregnant driver hit by allegedly stolen car in Adelaide

woman was left trapped at the wheel of her car this afternoon when an allegedly stolen car plowed into her.

"I just knew the car had been smashed but we didn't know how big this accident was," father-in-law James Blagg said. The 31-year-old and her unborn baby survived the ordeal and were taken to the Flinders Medical Centre to be assessed.Police alleged the Camry had been stolen during a break-in three days ago.A police chopper was deployed to search for the suspects, who were allegedly seen running in opposite directions in Highbury.

Police arrested 30-year-old man from Ingle Farm and a 23-year-old woman from Goodwood and said they were expected to be charged.
