Porsche driver to hand himself in after fleeing crash that killed police

The Porsche driver who fled the scene of a crash which killed four police officers on Melbourne's Eastern Freeway posted photos of the aftermath on Facebook, police have said.

This morning police said the Porsche driver had an extensive criminal history and investigators had since made contact with him.tested positive for"some type of drug" after police stopped him. He said the truck was travelling at 100 kilometres per hour and hit the police car so hard it spun across the lanes of the freeway, coming to a stop in the nature strip between the inbound and outbound lanes.The truck driver remains in hospital under police guard this morning.

It is now known that the driver of the refrigerated van was carrying the drug ice in the prime mover!!!! Should we have road blocks on all transport drivers for mandatory drug tests

Really, some people are really the worse specimen on the planet. Innocent driver or not innocent driver, the Porchedriver should have at heast help the injured. Instead he chose to flee after having the time to take some photo.

This is ..tragic. FOUR lives in the blink of an eye. We should rethink these high speed chases.
