Sky News host Chris Kenny says our politicians are spending “like there is no tomorrow” and are using the coronavirus pandemic as a license to forget anything 'so mundane as fiscal prudence'.

Sky News host Chris Kenny says our politicians are spending “like there is no tomorrow” and are using the coronavirus pandemic as a license to forget anything "so mundane as fiscal prudence". “With the state budget delivered today in Victoria we've been reminded how none of the state governments, or Canberra for that matter, are wasting this crisis,” he said. “Victorian net debt will rise to $155 billion over the next five years, this year's deficit will top $23 billion.

“The small government agenda is one of the biggest casualties of this pandemic, and we might not recover for decades. “Government is growing exponentially in this country, the states, the federal government, they are just reaching into every aspect of our lives, they believe that they are the solution to everything. “And no one, this year, seems to care a fig about the cost. “Future generations will pay for all of this, perhaps even while they're dealing with another pandemic.

Hey, Chris, you seem to know everything about everything, so why don't you run for PM and see how many vote for you? 😂

This was B 4 Covid!

Our politicians are flirting with failed ideas of socialism. They are clueless, and cheered by the leftist internet mob, do not know any better

Chris ... Is that why Scot Morrison & co cut the budget of the Audit Office? That way, they will not have sufficient funds to invest financial irregularities and corruption in the federal government. Apparently ASIC is next.

Yeah bloody terrible isn't it..

Donations to Murdoch as well

It is Dory Economics... Just keep printing, just keep printing.

That’s because they are trying to hide how much they are giving to gates and the Clinton foundation.

Chris still trotting out this dopey bullshit...

Biden's stance on China and Indo-Pacific 'good news for Australia' | Sky News AustraliaThe Australian's Foreign Editor Greg Sheridan says President Joe Biden's policy on China and the Indo-Pacific has been 'very good' - the Afghanistan military withdrawal will free up 'resources' to bolster their Navy in the Indo-Pacific.\n\n'The Biden administration has been very sensible- quite different from the second Obama administration,' Mr Sheridan said.\n\n'On the whole, it has continued Trump policy but I do think on China and the central challenge in the Indo-Pacific he and his whole administration... have been very good. \n\nMr Sheridan pointed to President Biden's efforts in withdrawing troops from Afghanistan to devote more resources to the Indo-Pacific.\n\n'I even think that it's been very good that he's pulled out of Afghanistan and is trying to draw down in the middle-east - because if you're fighting a war in the middle-east you're never going to devote the resources you need in the Pacific.\n\n'The US Navy has shrunk it's too small - can't do what we need it to do, so I think really Biden has been very good on China and the Indo-Pacific.'\n\n Greg wont be invited back Uh oh, programming error at Sky. Cut quickly to Rowan Dean! Thanks Greg. I have been shitting myself with all the war talk from the PM ScottMorrisonMP , senior ministers, senior government officials and SkyNews hosts recently but your comments are very reassuring!
