Celeste Barber and RFS clash over bill to allow sharing of bushfire donationsThe NSW Rural Fire Service has opposed a proposed new law that would allow the wider sharing of more than $51 million in donations raised by comedian Celeste Barber during the summer bushfire crisis | carriefellner Asher_Wolf carriefellner Thinking of the stories of fire trucks being picked up and thrown by the firestorm, by those which ran out of water etc, I don’t blame them. They could get the best gear with that money. Asher_Wolf carriefellner I think the money was stated to be for the RFS. People should not be confused when the money they donate goes to the RFS. Much money was donated to many other entities, and there is controversy about how that money is distributed, as some being held back for future disasters. AnthonyCole68 carriefellner Well they’d better spend that money frugally because none of us will ever donate to them again
