Pat Riordan was fined while driving his ute with a mountain bike in the back, 15 minutes from his home. “I honestly didn’t think those were the rules. I feel I was just caught out by a vague area of the guidelines and could have been issued with a warning rather than a fine in this instance.”contacted police, a spokesman said police would rescind Mr Riordan's fine.in Victoria’s stage three restrictions, the state’s chief health officer Dr Brett Sutton on Monday wrote on Twitter: “Yes, you can drive directly to a place of exercise if there’s nothing adjacent to your home.

Stay at home Pat. Ya don’t need to drive somewhere to excerise

Driving to exercise by himself sounds okay because going on runs/walks is not the only form of exercise. If the government wants that, then they should say that! Zero sense laws at the moment.

Good luck and health to you Pat.

Law is the same for everyone. If he broke the Law he should be fined.

What’s is the opposition saying about all of this? Where is the judicial oversight? I’m tired of this. letusout

Stupid fine but just jump on the bike and ride there.

Stay home Pat.

Stay at home or ride local.

This shit has to end

Last night I watched the news and saw Neil Balme being interviewed outside by Tom Browne while a cameraman filmed it. That’s a gathering of 3. RULES BROKEN.

It was shown long ago by Milgram and Zimbardo experiments in USA as well as Oz that anyone can under certain circumstances become a despot, a Nazi, not just Germans. See also Clockwork Orange.

How about Ian getting a fine at the rubbish tip. Wouldn’t have thought people would congregate at the tip for a social catch up. Police need to apply some common sense!

Stay at home

Welcome to 1984, we need to wake up

Glad it was overturned.

Commonsense prevails.

I warned of a police state three weeks ago.
