Police have spent the day searching for the body of missing Victorian mother Samantha Murphy, who has not been seen since early February. Search and Rescue, the Mounted Branch and Police Air Wing were searching the Buninyong Bushland Reserve, near Ballarat, on Wednesday.
Samantha Murphy search. Several police vehicles were parked at nearby Royal Park, with the main probe near Sandys Hill Rd. Search efforts have since wrapped up for the day, police confirmed to 7NEWS.com.au as of 3pm. Police said they were focusing on this area following “intelligence derived from a number of sources”. Detective Acting Superintendent Mark Hatt said police remained committed to finding Murphy’s body and returning her to her family.
