Two police officers are bitten and another kicked in the head during a violent arrest in Hobart's northern suburbs.

Three police officers were assaulted during an arrest incident on Monday nightPolice say body cameras have helped to reduce attacks and there is safety in numbers

"This type of assault can lead to both long-lasting physical injuries and debilitating effects on our members' mental health. "This happened at 11:00pm at night at Bridgewater … this is the type of incident where you need safe numbers responding so you've got pure superiority in numbers when you are dealing with these aggressive and violent people," he said.

Public is not trusting coppers anymore as Dutton is lining them up for a full Australian Police state they can see it coming

Was the police officer strip searching a 16 year old? Did she bite him as the officer squatted next to her looking at her naked body or when the officer lifted the pantyliner off her underwear? Just wondering.

... Taser.... 😑

Absolutely dreadful behaviour. I am devastated for our police 😢

If they had no teeth... problem solved...lulz

I don't think it's acceptable to attack cops doing their job. Domestic violence is shit for all involved. Cops are there to save lives of victims. They aren't always supported by courts & the changing attitudes to DV have been a long time coming. I'm grateful for those who fight

It's almost like people don't want to be arrested

DrugsAreAnswer! here in states, have 2 problems w/cops. 1st: they aim to kill instead of aim to please. Where's rootin tootin sharp shootin , blast gun out of hand? 2nd. Why bullets? Tranq darts. Perps accept their benny, take snooze. Voluntary Arrest first, crime meh..maybe.Sayin

This is when the Police (or someone else) should turn off the CCTV & lights and belt the crap out of this scumbag!

Cops do worse.

doesn't matter.
