Detectives will allege Constable Beau Lamarre killed missing men Jesse Baird and Luke Davies.

Grave concerns had been held for Qantas flight attendant Luke Davies, 29, and his partner and former Ten presenter Jesse Baird, 26, after bloodied possessions of theirs were found in a skip bin at Cronulla earlier this week.

"Police located a projectile at the premises which had been discharged … this has been ballistically matched to a NSW Police firearm." Police will allege both men were killed at Baird's home in Paddington on Monday, before the van was hired and used to transport and dispose of the bodies, Doherty said."We need to find the location of the bodies.Police raided a home in Balmain as part of the investigation. Police are still trying to establish the exact timeline of the men's deaths and the officer's movements, but Doherty confirmed Lamarre had travelled to Newcastle last night.

"It has been documented that the 28-year-old man facing these charges was in a relationship with Jesse which finished a couple of months ago, and so that's an obvious line of inquiry in relation to domestic-style incident," Doherty said.
