A crime scene has been established in Gellibrand Lower after the bodies of a man and a woman were found on a walking track near Wreck Beach.

Police are investigating the deaths of two people whose bodies were found on a walking track in Victoria's south-west this morning.

A man and woman, who are yet to be formally identified, were found by a passer-by on the track at Gellibrand Lower near Wreck Beach about 10:45am. The area is a 30-minute drive from the popular Twelve Apostles tourist attraction on the Great Ocean Road.
