Police today released new CCTV of the Toyota driving through dark streets in Tregear, in Sydney's west, around the time Adnan Salameh was shot dead in front of his girlfriend.in the early hours of November 30 after at least two armed intruders burst into his flat on Rymill Street and shot him in the shoulder and leg.
"We believe from the information received today this is a breakthrough, we believe identifying this vehicle, and then hopefully someone can identify the who the owner or occupants were," he added.Adnan Salameh died after being shot in the leg and shoulder in front of his girlfriend at his Tregear home in the early hours of November 30, 2020.
Police believe the light-coloured 2001-2005 model Toyota Camry sedan with distinct five-spoke aftermarket wheels could help them find the killers. "We're confident someone will recognise this vehicle and may remember seeing it in the Tregear area around the time of Adnan's death."
