Police have arrested two men and a 16-year-old boy as part of a joint counter-terrorism operation in Melbourne.

A 20-year-old Epping man is still in custody, and a 16-year-old Pascoe Vale boy was released pending further inquiries, a police statement said.The operation was conducted by the Joint Counter Terrorism Team, which comprises of Victoria Police, the Australian Federal Police, the Australian Security Intelligence Organisation and other agencies.
