Police are appealing for the public's help to find several men who investigators want to speak to in relation to a shooting in Balmain East last month.
Police were called to Pearson Street around 9pm on August 29, after witnesses reported hearing gunshots and seeing a white hatchback speeding off after hitting a parked car in the street.Witnesses say a man and a woman were inside the hatchback.AdvertisementThe car, which was fitted with interstate number plates and had allegedly been stolen in July, was damaged by bullets.
Detectives are appealing to the public who may have seen the men running from the scene or another man who they say was "loitering" in a nearby underground car park. The man in the car park is described as being of medium build with short dark hair and wearing black clothes.
