Prime Minister Scott Morrison and Attorney General Christian Porter have released a new draft of the Religious Discrimination act after the first bill failed to garner support.
Under the new laws, the definition of a 'religious body' - with the ability to hire and fire staff on religious grounds - will be expanded. The legislation also provided stronger protection for faith-based groups, and provided clarification on the definition of 'vilify'. The overhaul of the initial bill came after major backlash from religious groups, multicultural communities and faith-based businesses.

A load of primitive crap.When you want protection from vilification but want the right to vilify, what the frog is that? When you want protection from dismissal because of religious belief but want the right to refuse employment because of religious belief, what the frog is that?
Have taken out the part that said,'cannot be discriminated against for religious activity or belief OR NON religious activity or belief' or words to that effect.? Religious groups don't want non religious people to be protected against religious discrimination.
