In his first major speech for the year, Prime Minister Scott Morrison has defended his climate credentials at the National Press Club insisting any future use from his government of Kyoto credits is hypocritical.

"It was the Labor government that made carry-over credits a condition of their signing up to the second commitment period of the Kyoto Protocol, so

I'm not copping lectures from that lot," Mr Morrison said. "Building dams and improving planning for natural disasters is the climate action we need."

Am pleased to see he is not going to bow and scrape to our radicals. The radicals we have here on this climate issue do not run this country and are not the only ones of this country. Hope he gets rid of the UN next.

Well done Sir. Australian wealth and heritage for Australians, not for corrupt lefties bent on an apocalypse that doesn't exist.. With time technology and prosperity will solve all scientific doubts and poverty.

Grow some balls & don”t bow to the scam. We voted against the Leftards & their scam - remember ?

Boris Johnston is emerging as a solid global leader in economic management of decarbonisation. Thus future proofing the British economy in the post carbon economy... If only SCOMO can be less egoistic and see the facts.

Just buy more carbon credits...it's a scientific fact they were created to save the world. Just ask Al..

A word salad 🥗 of lies.

I saw your reporter at the Press Club ... why no mention that every speaker at the protest outside was a radical socialist calling to tear down Australian society?

Business as usual is no longer acceptable. climatechange

You know how the world laughs at Trump ? Well, they laugh at this deluded liar too. ScottyFromMarketting has no 'climate credentials' and no amount of spin will convince anyone of it.

Agree with your summary for once. Use of Kyoto credits IS hypocritical. But I think your intern has flubbed the task here and didn't mean to call out the climatecriminals

Defended is pretty strong... There’s no defense really. There’s only ScottyfromMarketing

he has the Hawaiian holiday fires named after him, the year has been change for him YearoftheRat He has corrupt minister that he is doing everything to protect. And he is a S44 dual national.

The quiet Australians like it! Thanks for gettign back on Song Sco Mo

First your right about Kyoto it's just a money take from the UN ..but look what have the UN done for Climate Change..Not a thing ..nothing So why do they want cash from every one.Why because they can ...let's look right into it ..we will start with Volcanoes three in a week

A certain section of society gets utterly enraged when Scott Morrison doesn't click his fingers and change the planet's climate. He presents a bill that will remove the freedom and civil liberty of EVERY Australian who chooses to freely transact using cash, and it's crickets.

A very strong speech, congratulations to him.
