Prime Minister Scott Morrison is urging the population to speed up their second AstraZeneca jab only a month after their first, which conflicts with ATAGI’s recommendations.

Prime Minister Scott Morrison is urging the population to speed up their second AstraZeneca jab only a month after their first which conflicts with ATAGI’s recommendations.

The Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation’s advice was for those in affected areas to expedite times between doses but all others in New South Wales must wait for the suggested 12 weeks. Mr Morrison will head into another vaccine brawl when he heads into National Cabinet meets on Friday when each state government will look at how many Australians need to be vaccinated to end lockdowns for good.

It’ll be the first time all leaders will see crucial scientific modelling on vaccination rates from the Doherty Institute.

If Scott Morrison had done his job properly, we wouldn’t have to. He is so useless, it requires an army to clean up the messes he keeps making.

Who made this guy a medical expert.Get all the States on the same page and just get the job done safely.

bah, what would those science f*ckers know anyway...

People are not idiots we can think for ourselves.

WHICH CONFLICTS WITH ATAGIS RECOMMENDATIONS!!! What. Is. He doing?!?!?

This is where i disagree with the PM! He obviously has not seen the paper on the AZ vacine. If you get the 2nd dose within 6 weeks of the 1st the efficacy drops to around 50%!

He does not make these decisions without consultation. I heard one of the medical experts say recently that AZ will be shortened between jabs & Pfizer lengthened to bring them more in line. But media loves stirring the pot.

LyndaFrench19 F*** me. Could he be any worse?

Scott Morrissolini

All spin and no follow through 🙄🙄🙄

Is it a race yet?

ScottMorrisonMP undertake to compensate people/families (lifetime income) if adverse event/death occurs from AZ vaccination; not years of battle with mountains of paperwork just pay up within 60 days. If AZ is 'safe' as is stated, then cheaper than billions of lost $ to economy.

UK do 8 week intervals. Doing 8 weeks is not outrageous whilst Delta is around & can potentially hit anywhere.

Pfizer or Moderna , Scotty. (72 yr old voter).
