Anyone coming in illegaly know what could happen before they decide to come. While I agree that nobody should have to live in detention, when someone knowingly tries to enter a country illegally, or overstays illegally then you made that choice. You got no right to complain later
MKumbayer Their refugee status was deemed invalid by the Dept of Home Affairs, Administrative Appeals Tribunal, Federal Circuit Court, Federal Court, Full Federal Court, High Court. They cheated the system and won.
Immigrate legally or stay in your own country. Choose wisely.
