She started her career as a graduate at Deloitte’s corporate finance division after completing an economics degree at the University of Sydney.The flagship Australian Equities Fund returned 20.8 per cent over one year, outperforming the S&P/ASX 300 Accumulated Index’s 10.5 per cent as of February 29, though it lagged the benchmark over three years.

Ms Stevanovic said the task at hand was to ensure a “sustainable and secure financial environment” for the investment team so they could focus on delivering strong returns. The Bosnia-born investor described February’s reporting season as “largely benign”. She said the typical negative earnings revisions were “much smaller than what we normally see”.
