As they reached a speed of 80km/h between Brunswick and Moreland Roads, a massive object came crashing into their windscreen.It was a huge plank of wood, which caused extensive damage to the bonnet before becoming wedged in the glass on the driver’s side.
Photos show the damage to the Porsche including a dent in the bonnet and the windscreen shattered.Neither of them saw where the wood came from and police are investigating what caused the incident.Anyone who was on the CityLink in the area at the time and who might have dashcam footage of the incident ia urged to contact police.
