As the speeding Metrolink train approached, the police officers were heard yelling out "go, go, go" as they pulled the injured pilot away from danger. Seconds later, the train slammed into the aircraft and sent debris from the single-engine Cessna flying in different directions. After the incident, the LAPD said the Foothill Division Officers "displayed heroism and quick action by saving the life of a pilot".It's believed the plane made the emergency landing after losing power.
