Australian health authorities are urgently seeking more information from Norway after the country reported deaths in elderly patients who had received the Pfizer vaccine | rachelclun

Minister Hunt said there were no plans to change the vaccine schedule, but the government would accept any additional advice from the regulator.

The spokeswoman said the TGA was working with European regulators to decide whether the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccination should come with health warnings for the very frail, elderly, or terminally ill. "As vaccines are rolled out to millions, and ultimately billions of people across the world, we will see some flags pop up, but it's very important for people to understand that those will be really thoroughly investigated."Professor Greg Dore, an infectious diseases physician and epidemiologist at the Kirby Institute, UNSW Sydney, said in the US nearly 2 million doses of the Pfizer vaccine have been given, including to the elderly.
