A Perth man has braved a raging house inferno to save his two beloved dogs. He and his mum had escaped the blaze at their Winthrop home about 5.30pm on Tuesday when they realised the pets were still inside.
Man braves Winthrop fire to rescue two pet dogs. Despite flames overcoming the Holland Cl property, the man ran back towards danger, emerging soon after clutching a canine in each arm. The fire started in the garage and took just minutes to spread, sending flames soaring into the sky and destroying a lifetime of memories. “I’ve never seen anything like it before, it went up so quickly,” Winthrop resident Phoebe told 7NEWS. “Everybody was very sombre because it was very sad.
