A commuter has died after allegedly being pushed in front of a moving train by a “disturbed” person in New York City.
The victim was pushed onto the tracks as a northbound 4 train was entering the East 125th Street and Lexington Avenue station in East Harlem just before 7pm, police sources said. The train was unable to stop in time and fatally struck the individual, whose identity has not been released.The person was pronounced dead shortly after and a suspect, described as an emotionally disturbed person, was taken into custody, according to the sources. Charges are pending.
