The New South Wales Premier Dominic Perrottet has defended his Treasurer’s mid-year budget review after Matt Kean revealed a significant deterioration of government finances from earlier forecasts.

“You cannot risk a Labor Government in New South Wales because we know what a Labor government does – lifting the cap on expenses will blow the budget,” Mr Perrottet said at a media conference on Wednesday.“They are very fast to pass on interest rate rises but they are very slow to pass on interest rate cuts.

“This is a difficult economic time for families across New South Wales – we stand with families, so should the banks.”

Liberals have been completely infiltrated by leftism

ALP has Federal power to assert pressure on Banks! Why should people be forced to lose their homes because RBA does not know its business? If ALP can put a cap on Coal & Gas why can’t they put a cap on RBA & Banks interest rates as they have all given borrowers misleading info?

You did a GREAT JOB NSW PREMIER. DON'T LET LABOR GET IN

They sunk their own ship along with their fed counterparts corruption doesn't win elections

Perrotet is hopelessly out of touch with the people. You can't have a guy with a private school education run Sydney. Sydney is not a sophisticated city. It's a very basic city. People are good because people are hard working. Most are public schools. They have no illusions

Gambling reforms to ‘make a real difference’ in preventing money laundering: PerrottetNew South Wales Premier Dominic Perrottet says amendments to anti-money laundering laws and the cashless gaming card will “make a real difference in clamping down on organised crime” in the state. “We want to make sure there are less places right across New South Wales where money laundering can take place,” he said during a media conference on Tuesday. “It’s a suite of measures – the more loopholes we close, the safer our communities will be.” Saying things like safer for our communities or better for the public, one can be sure it is not. Government never considers its citizens unless it benefits government. He is lying. Shutting down casinos would probably be more effective. It’s all about the process: ill-begotten gains could still be used to purchase cashless cards.
