"Paul was one of life's true gentlemen," one person wrote on Facebook."Paul was a man of complete dignity, may he find the peace he so deserves.""If we weren't subject to COVID-19 restrictions, I think we'd see an enormous funeral and people come from all over the area to pay respects to the family," he said.

"All we can do is hope the authorities would put up a reward that would attract somebody to give some information.Paul Mackay took over his father's furniture store in Griffith after the 1977 murder.Mr Mackay told the ABC he had doubts a bigger reward would lead to answers about what happened to his father.

Mr Mackay repeatedly called out the group he believed was responsible for his father's death and said organised crime still existed in Griffith.Detective Sergeant Tim Clark from Griffith Police said the case was still open but increasing the reward was not being considered.

So sad. 💔

Naturally TheirABC continue to protect their left-wing Labor mates and won't tell you this … 'Mackay stood as a Liberal Party candidate for the House of Representatives against Al Grassby'.

People who purchase illegal drugs fund organise crime. The Donald Mackay murder is an example.

Can’t wait for the wave of outrage from the left on this one......

I think you fail to grasp the concept of 'mystery'.

And his furniture store still operates proudly in Griffith.

🖤

Sad.

Well yeah.... because their local media has been objectivly bias. More so than any previous president. It's time they and YOU (abc and other aust media outlets) start getting back into the ethical reporting of journalism. Ditch the opinion articles and overt political bias. Democrats are evil, catch up ABC. Such biased reporting. You should be ashamed of yourselves

Victoria's hospitality industry gets ready to reopen, but the state's nightlife remains shut out - ABC NewsBusiness owners from cafes, restaurants and pubs are excited and relieved they finally have a date to begin serving diners, but with bars and live music venues remaining shut Melbourne's nightlife is under threat. Please stop the 'new normal' crap. There is only normal and abnormal. There's nothing 'normal', when people's livelihoods, their lives and the entire socioeconomic well being of a society is 'under serious threat', instead it's called ABNORMAL, unless you're a sadistic psychopath, as only such deplorable ones will call it the 'new normal'. I can't see how kitchens can keep a 1.5m separation between kitchen staff. Couldn't happen in any of the kitchens I've cooked in.

Coronavirus lockdown leaves skilled workers stuck in or out of Australia during pandemic - ABC NewsPregnant couples and the recently bereaved are among hundreds of skilled migrants unable to leave or return to Australia while the Federal Government's international travel bans remain in effect. Whinge whinge sook sook Am very sad, and very glad that someone has mentioned this. Without complaining about my own circumstances, the pain of the travel ban disrupts lives, as does the absence of definition and the absurd rigmarole of dealing with Dutton's gang. Please be patient and help Australia maintain a flattened curve. Once the country is in order, people can safely return if they meet the criteria. Those who have close ones in Australia certainly wishes them to be safe too & not in a possibly pandemic environment.
