Large parts of South Australia are tonight underwater as record rainfall batters the state. 9News

Emergency crews are racing to keep up with the number of calls for help amid warnings another drenching is on the way.

"More than a dozen locations have recorded January records and more than half a dozen have recorded annual rainfall records," Bureau of Meteorology senior forecaster Paul Lainio said. "There's some long distances for our crews to actually travel to those jobs," SES duty officer Brenton Clarke said.People are getting by on paddleboards as roads and streets submerge in floodwater.

Floods suck for sure, but they're better than bush fires.

Just think of all the water that would be caught in dams if more were built across Australia. That doesn't fit the climate change thing ay
