A tiny Pacific nation that has felt the wrath of Beijing for its continuing ties to Taiwan is urging global leaders to also work closely with the democratic island that China claims as its own territory.

At UN climate talks in Egypt, Beijing criticised Taiwan's allies for pushing for the island to speak at the global forum

"What we've told China is that, as friends, you shouldn't tell your friends who their friends can be." "They should be allowed to participate in the WHO [World Health Organization], they should be allowed to participate at UNFCC [United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change]," he said. "Whether it's COVID, or climate, we need everybody to be part of the solution. So we want to work through how that can occur in those forums," she said.

Remember if Australia would go to war with China over Taiwan, US will stend with Australia, supply arms and support peace until last Australian stending just like with Ukraine

Has anybody asked Penny Wong what her position on Taiwan is? I'm old enough to remember when we stood up against bullying from Taiwan's big brother across the Formosa straight... Now? Well, it's anybody's guess... Conflict of Interest, WATCH OUT! -Ken

Labor’s foreign policy ‘transgression’ is their climate change ‘alarmism’Labor’s only foreign policy transgressions have been their “continuing alarmism” and “open-ended commitments on climate change”, says Sky News host Chris Kenny. Foreign Minister Penny Wong, while in Vanuatu to sign a security pact, described climate change as an “existential issue” about 'culture and land and sea, and safety and security”. “Now this is just indulgent, the Pacific Islands are not being swamped by rising oceans, they are not under threat from climate change, the island areas are actually increasing, according to the most recent studies,” Mr Kenny said. “And the climate alarmism is really just a shakedown for more aid, we all know that, even though diplomacy demands a more subtle approach. “Look, we expect climate overreach from Labor, but the problem is the uber woke (Simon) Birmingham – he chimes in, with climate rhetoric to match Labor’s.” It is an acceptance of the science. Just as most other political parties, which 96% of Australian voted for, also accept. It is only the conspiracy theorists like Sky News and their sheeple now don't accept the science. Sadly we know how dangerous conspiracy theorists can be. Honestly what would Lemons 🍋 Wong know about CC all she does is splash tax payers cash 💵 on the shifty Pacific Islanders !
