Sky News host Paul Murray says Queensland Premier AnnastaciaMP cares more about polling than health advice after Queensland’s border restrictions eased at the same time polling results did not go in her favour.

Sky News host Paul Murray says Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk cares more about polling than health advice after Queensland’s border restrictions eased at the same time polling results did not go in her favour. It comes as the Queensland government opened its border to ACT residents and announced it will be relaxing its border to parts of northern New South Wales from October 1.

A state-wide poll recently revealed Queenslanders prefer Scott Morrison over Ms Palaszczuk when it comes to the handling of COVID-19; while another poll revealed 61 per cent of Queenslanders have lost faith in the state government. “Was it the reality of the virus numbers that have moved the premier now … well of course not, it was polling,” Mr Murray said. “She’ll react overnight, just like she has multiple times before when the polls start to turn on her.

'Pointless premiers' are getting in the way 'of your final days': Murray | Sky News AustraliaSky News host Paul Murray says “pointless premiers' are getting in the way of “your life, of your final days, of what happens after you die”.\n\nHis comments come as the Cancer Council in Victoria has shown Australians with cancer are afraid of dying alone if they go into palliative care. \n\n“From the emperor in Western Australia, to the marshmallow in South Australia, to the Chairman in Victoria, to well, Peter Gutwein, who is acting a bit like a turtle with his head under the shell in Tasmania, then the oh-so-compassionate Palaszczuk,” Mr Murray said. \n\n“They’re all the lockdown states, all the ones that won’t let certain people cross border.\n\n“As a result of the systems they have put in place, people with cancer are now scared of dying alone.\n\n“Forget all the tough talk, think about you if it was you with cancer, let alone somebody that you know or love with cancer now.\n\n“These idiot premiers, in order to show off, and their toughness is directly linked to when the electoral cycle is, … (are) getting in the way of your life, of your final days, of what happens after you die.\n\n“It’s not about polls, it’s about humanity.”\n It almost sounds that Mr Murray (based also on the POTUS advertising infomercial he was involved in) is trying to hasten 'your' getting to your death via a crazed unethical & highly dangerous 'herd immunity' strategy. What about pointless, irrelevant and overpaid Pauls? Vote for big government, you get Big Brother.

High polls for Andrews clearly equate to ‘Stockholm syndrome’ | Sky News AustraliaSky News host Peta Credlin says the only explanation for Daniel Andrews’ positive Newspoll numbers is “Stockholm syndrome”.\n\nAccording to The Australian’s Newspoll, 62 per cent of Victorian voters believe Premier Daniel Andrews has handled the ongoing COVID-19 crisis well.\n\nThis is despite a failed hotel quarantine system, which is currently under inquiry, and inadequate contact tracing.\n\nHis satisfaction rating is 62 per cent, while Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk experiences similar support with 63 per cent approval.\n\nMs Credlin said both the polls for the two premiers are “virtually identical” which is surprising, given nobody would compare the handling of the virus in Victoria to the handling in Queensland.\n\n“Everyone in the country would say that Daniel Andrews has done a shocking job,” she said.\n\n“I don’t think these polls give us anything more than Stockholm syndrome.\n\n“Stockholm syndrome in Victoria, I can’t explain it in Queensland.”\n\n DanielAndrewsMP That's no even a good rebuttal. It would be better to say the sampling is too small to determine the approval instead. DanielAndrewsMP Fake polls DanielAndrewsMP Who's getting polled? I haven't been and don't know anyone who has
