Sydney’s Deputy Lord Mayor Linda Scott says Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk will be understandably running on her record in the state election considering she has done an “objectively great job” of handling COVID-19.
“She is going to be saying to Queenslanders, ‘we have done great job’, and they objectively have,” Ms Scott told Sky News host Paul Murray. “The Queensland economy is going well, people are safe from the pandemic and she’s got every right to stand in front of the Queensland people and say ‘you should reelect me to keep doing this good job’. “I think it’s a completely reasonable and sensible platform. “Annastacia Palaszczuk, understandably, is going to be running on her record.
