Port Adelaide 's Jeremy Finlayson has been forced to address controversial comments he made in the public domain for the second time in two weeks.
Those remarks prompted Port Adelaide to issue a statement on Wednesday afternoon with comments attributed to Finlayson, who said he had reflected on what he stated. Finlayson's three match suspension covered rounds five, six and seven of the AFL season, and also extended to the SANFL state competition.
"I knew that at the time and I know it now. I stress, I have no issue with the sanction at all," he said.
