Reports of a male government staffer performing a sex act inside Parliament House have prompted outrage in Canberra, with politicians warning it's further evidence of a culture of disrespect towards women.
Labor's spokesperson for government accountability Kristina Keneally said the"shocking" reports were further evidence of a culture of disrespect towards women. Greens Senator Sarah Hanson-Young said it was up to Mr Morrison to address the cultural problems inside Parliament House. Finance Minister Simon Birmingham earlier said the reports were being investigated and those involved in the behaviour would be held responsible.

Disrespect?thats what we think it is? So if it's done out side parliament it would be respectful?
SBS Get a grip, this has nothing to do with disrespect towards woman. They did it all over the office, the media have just specifically pic'd one that happens to be a female MP, doesnt excuse the behaviour but this isnt a female thing, sorry feminists, I'm not biting.
SBS Have you ever stayed in a hotel room? 'The footage was reportedly shared with a group of Coalition staffers who filmed themselves committing indecent acts inside Parliament House' So it wasnt even specifically females, they just grabbed a pic the happened to be a female MP
Are they supposed to be leading the country?
Kristina should be very careful in only accusing male staffers. MP's are also involved even if simply tolerating this behaviour which they MUSt have known about. And what about the female bullies in Parliament?
Slow news day? 🙄
SBS So how is wanking on the desks of all those that voted against SSM, disrespect towards women?
ScottMorrisonMP is shocked by the lewd behaviour! Wow these staffers are nothing but stuffers in the Peyton Place called Capital Hill!!
There ‘s a bit more detail to that , and it was before the present PM
masturbating is not a SEX act it is an indulgence which probably has close connections to their idea of sex.
With sarahinthesen8, SenatorWong, tanya_plibersek and KKeneally about it is wonder that anyone can get excited.
Also a culture of doing outrages acts for 'Likes' for recognition on social media.
I’m surprised ScoMo hasn’t pointed out that Labour Minister John Brown was using his office desk for sex back in 1983, highlighting the fact that parliamentary desks have a long history of acting as willing participants in acts of impropriety...
'Labor' politician.
When is Labor going to respect women?
