Online adult content subscription service OnlyFans has revealed that changes to the type of content creators can upload to the site will be implemented within weeks.

"In order to ensure the long-term sustainability of our platform, and continue to host an inclusive community of creators and fans, we must evolve our content guidelines," OnlyFans said in a statement.

While celebrities, musicians and fitness instructors have used the platform to connect with fans, many influencers and sex workers have opted to upload sexually explicit videos. When the new changes are implemented in October, creators will still be able to upload nude photos and videos but they will need to be in keeping with new guidelines, details of which are yet to be released.
